Description

Las Vegas. The Strip.  To the untrained eye, it’s a sleepy desert crossroads.  A wasteland of cheap hotels, gas stations, and dust.  But to you, it is Paradise.  Your brilliant plan?  You will construct a magnificent chain of casinos and fill them with light. You will manufacture the ultimate dream of easy money and impossible luxury.  You will sell basically nothing.  You are not alone in this plan.

Lord$ of Vega$ creates the rich and risk taking environment of Las Vegas.  Players will have the opportunity to build and control casinos along the famous Las Vegas Strip.  The luck of the draw will determine where a player can start a casino.  Casinos can be built, expanded, remodeled, and reorganized on a players’ turn.  Timing is critical.  Money and points are awarded at the start of each players turn.  Money flows freely for ownership of buildings lots and casinos.   Points lonely go to the boss of the casinos.  The boss is determined by who has the highest die located in the casino.  Clever tactics using the remodel and reorganize actions can result in major gains.  Good rolls of the dice will also be helpful.

One of the most interesting parts of the game lies on the scoring track.  Early in the game scores can go up one point at a time.  Later point increments must be gained 2 at a time, then 3 at a time, the 4, etc.  In order to advance along the scoring track it is essential for players to be bosses in ever increasingly larger casinos.  Plan carefully, time your takeovers, roll the dice well and you too can become of the Lord$ of Vega$.
